How the process of obtaining action sports photos works:

• Contact us if you have interest in a sporting event being photographed or if you have seen us at an event;

• Feel free to approach us at a game and let us know if you are interested in one particular player;

• Let us know what type of photos you are after - team shots, individual action shots, candids, a "photojournal" of the event, etc.

• If the event has already been photographed, check the GALLERIES section for print availability. If you are interested in a poster, please email us. NOT ALL SHOTS ARE POSTED IN THE GALLERIES.

• For poster work:

  • We will quote your request;

  • We will provide a simple "proof" for your review. This will typically not be a completed work;

  • Upon receipt of payment, we will finalize and print the job. Please note that prints can take up to two weeks for delivery;

  • We will notify you when the prints are available and make arrangements for pickup and/or shipping;

• As a reminder, all work is copyrighted and may not be duplicated without permission;

WHAT WE SHOOT:

• We specialize and enjoy taking action shots of outdoor sports;

• We typically shoot the action during a game and/or those players we have been asked to shoot. We do not try or intend to shoot every player at every game.

• If you are reviewing a gallery and do not see your player in any photos, let us know the player/number and we will check the offline game shots. NOT ALL SHOTS ARE POSTED IN THE GALLERIES. Unless you have specifically asked for a player to be photographed, do not take offense if we did not get any shots of your player. We do not try or intend to shoot every player at every game.

• We shoot indoor sports as well, but keep in mind that lighting for indoor youth/amateur sports is almost always a problem, especially in those cases flash or strobes are not allowed;

• We concentrate on Penfield-based teams but have shot for various teams/tournaments throughout New York State.

• If requested, we will shoot a "journal" of the event;

• We are typically not in the business of doing dozens of youth soccer team photos over a three-hour period. While we will do static team or individual photos from time to time, our specialty and interest lies in capturing action.

• If you give us a specific individual to shoot, we will do our best to get action shots. However we utilize cameras and not magic wands, and therefore the "action shots" depend on the action itself;

• Please note we attend most events at the request of a participant, coach, administrator or parent. We may ask your help in letting other participants/spectators know who we are and why we are at the event taking pictures.

WHAT WE PRINT:

• Our philosophy on sports prints, particularly action shots, is the bigger the better. Therefore the vast majority of what we recommend is 8"x10" or larger. Smaller than 8"x10" is of course possible, but we feel most of the impact is lost at the smaller sizes;

• We can provide photos with logos, graphics, text and other identifiers. Anything from simple player names to a full collage of an event, encompassing several pictures. This approach provides additional impact to the photo - and when the print is reviewed 20 years from now the viewer will know who, what and when. Please see the posters page for more info and samples.

• We utilize professional quality printers, inks and papers for in-house work and a professional printing service for other work.

HOW TO PLACE AN ORDER:

• If you have seen the photo(s) you are looking for already, please note the file name(s) and continue with the steps below. Otherwise, contact us to make sure we have (or can get) what you are looking for;
   

• For simple prints, please click on the galleries within the GALLERIES page. This will take you to our PRINTROOM.COM gallery page, where different print sizes may be ordered.
   

• For Custom poster pricing (NOTE: please see the POSTER page):

  • Custom posters can include anywhere from one to five or more photos;

  • Graphics, text, stats, logos, season-ending awards, just about anything can be added;

  • Sizes from 11" x 17" to 30" x 60" are available;

  • Poster prices typically run from $39 and up. We will quote your exact request;

  • We will create your poster and either put it in a gallery on our PRINTROOM.COM gallery page, or we will print the poster internally. We'll let you know which method will be used and how to place your order.

  • Shipping and handling:

    • If we print in-house, we will usually find a way to hand-deliver the work. Items from our PRINTROOM.COM galleries will show the shipping/handling charges.

• Other:

  • Arrangements, products, pricing, etc. outside of the above must be agreed to in writing;

• Once you have selected your items, please contact us for any final questions, etc.
